When creating/editing the TOPIC COURSE, you'll be taken to the "content" section where you can add content and create assessments. You can create an assessment for each module.
You can create the test 1) directly on the platform 2) download an Excel template to upload it (read more below) 3) create it in an external tool and add the link.
When creating the test, it will ask you a series of options that you will select:
These options are:
a) Controls the maximum time the student has to answer the test.
b) Questions are shown randomly to different students, if you select this option, do not number the questions.
c) Random answers (each answer has a different order for each student)
d) Subtract points for incorrect answers
e) If you want a certificate to be automatically sent to the student upon completing the evaluation. See how to customize certificates here.
f) Allow to move on to the next module without completing the test: So that the evaluation is informative for the student with the option to do so or not without any consequences.
g) DO NOT allow the student to move on to the next module if the evaluation has not been completed.
h) DO NOT allow the student to move on to the next module without a minimum % of correct answers and a number of attempts that you specify.
*You have the option to select to enable/disable topics automatically without being related to the assessments. Read more here .
i) Show the answers to the students on each attempt they make of the evaluation.
j) Show the answers to the students on the last attempt they make of the evaluation.
k) Show the answers with an additional explanation/text (to expand the answer).
Additionally, you can create your test in Excel by downloading our template.
You must upload it in CSV format. Make sure the CSV file is in UTF-8 format so that accents and ñ do not appear with strange characters.
Answer types:
- a single correct answer (for true or false, etc.)
several correct answers/multiple choice
- essay or open question
*in addition to adding photographs, videos and documents as part of the question.
For -assessment purposes i.e., without marking anything), do not choose essay/open-ended questions.
If you want to see a student's result or reset it so they can take it again, you must access the student section of the course:
On the button "actions" of the student in "see detail"
In the "evaluations" section you can see the information and reset the student's test.
To see the overall result of the assessments taken by all students, you must do so through "progress". Here you have how.
