Meta Events, Google Analytics, and Tik Tok

Events are useful for tracking conversions and optimization so that Meta (Facebook and Instagram), TikTok, and Google Analytics can start recording how users behave within your Academy's website and on all your course landing pages. You can add these events as button actions or multimedia elements.

*To add events, you must have the pixel integrated.

*To see these events, you need to have Google Analytics version 4 (GA4).

Adding events by pages:

Access the editor

And in the horizontal top menu, select the page and then go to properties:

A window will open so you can enter the corresponding information:

Adding events to buttons/actions:

1. Access the editor and select the button or media element where you want to add it. You will find it in the right menu in the "actions" tab

2.Select the type of event:

Each type of event can be customized with different parameters, such as the purchase value, currency used, etc. Standard events are the ones that Facebook and Google give you by default, but you can send whatever you want and those are the customized ones, for example, you can set that if the events are on a course page, by default, the price and currency will be sent as well.
