To use the affiliate system, it is essential that you have your own domain in Classonlive.
First Promoter is the most complete and most used affiliate program to create your own automated network of sellers of your online training. To use it with ClassOnLive you must complete 3 steps:
Step 1: Registration and Configuration in First Promoter (if you haven't done so yet, you must do so before doing this step 2)
Step 2: Integration with ClassOnLive (which we explain below)
To integrate your First Promoter account into Classonlive, you need to go to the My Academy-->Marketing & Sales-->Affiliates section:
You must enter 3 pieces of information (APi, Script and Plans):
1- Your API key
To obtain this information, once you have logged into your First Promoter account, go to the "Settings" section and then go to the Integrations tab
The value that appears in the Api Key field and paste it into the Api Key First Promoter field of the ClassOnLive form.
2-Tracking Script
This script allows you to audit if a training purchase comes through one of your affiliates. ClassOnLive will insert it into all your public pages (Academy, Catalog, Course Sales Pages).
To get this script, go to the Settings section, Integrations tab, and click on Integrate your Website.
Once inside you will see a screen like this:
Click on the Instructions button in the Integrate your Website section
and copy the script that appears in this section:
Paste it into the ClassOnlive Tracking Script field:
Remember to save the data.
Then go back to the script view and click the Test Tracking button
3-The PlanID of your affiliate campaign
This data is very important because it will determine the type of reward you will grant.
Examples:
-You can generate a plan for your subscription/membership courses where the reward is a % of the course value for X months.
-Create another plan to apply to fixed-price courses that is a % of the course value.
It is necessary that all the plans you want to use be added to ClassOnlive in order to then be able to assign the corresponding affiliation plan to each training.
To integrate with ClassOnlive it is mandatory that you have at least one Plan generated in your Campaigns.
*You can have as many plans as you want.
To access the Affiliate Plan id, access the campaign and "edit campaign":
AND go to Rewards Settings
Click on Add Sale Reward
Choose the option Specific Plan/Product
And then click on Add new Plan /Product
Enter the name of your Plan and the Plan ID field.
Important: The Plan ID field enters a unique name, without spaces or tildes or special characters
And copy the Plan Id that appears to copy and paste it into the corresponding field in ClassOnLive.
Choose the reward type or create a new one, and then save the campaign
Once you have completed Steps 1 and 2, you must test your account in FirstPromoter so that it is put in validated status.
Once your account is validated and verified, you can start receiving new affiliate registrations through the registration form you generated. We recommend that you add this form to your academy or a visible part of your domain so that your affiliates can sign up.
Then, in FirstPromoter, you can access and see the status of your account, see your affiliates, and the clients who have purchased your courses through them, as well as the rewards that you must pay to your affiliates.
I IMPORTANT: Rewards payments are made externally through Paypal, so your affiliates will need to add a Paypal account to receive their earnings.
