To provide greater security to all clients and prevent fraudulent use of access, administrator, student, and instructor accounts have IP Access Control .
If an account/email (administrator, instructor, or student) accesses the platform from a different IP than the one used previously, you will be sent an email. In the email you will receive, you must confirm if the IP from which you are connecting is trusted and secure.
If you verify the information and confirm , you will not be sent an email again.
Otherwise, it will ask you to change your password and verify that someone is not trying to access your account.
*There is a maximum of 5 trusted IPs, so if this amount is exceeded, one of the previous ones will be deleted and replaced by the new trusted one.
This is an example of the email you will receive:
Hello,
Your security is very important to us. This email address was used to access your yourdomain account from a new IP address:
Email : [email protected]
Date and time : 08-31-2024 10:18:29
IP address : 80.50.192.321
Connection location : Madrid, Spain
If it's you, click on ACCEPT ACCESS .
If it's not you and you detect suspicious activity, click on REJECT ACCESS. We also advise you to change your password as soon as possible.
If you want to deactivate the security system, you can do so directly from the control panel. Important: You must accept the clause that explains the risks involved in removing the security system.
Important:
All users (administrator, students, and instructors) must log in through your domain/subdomain for IP control to be removed. If you access through www.classonlive.com, this restriction cannot be removed.
