A student has purchased my training. How and when do I receive the money?

Advanced and Premium Plans: Integrating your payment methods

ClassOnLive allows you to integrate different payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal, card payment (through Stripe), Mercado Pago, Aplázame or PayU.

Additionally, it allows you to enable or disable them, so you can choose only the payment methods you want your students to use. For example, if you only want to be paid by bank transfer, you can disable the rest.

When you select the "I manage my payment methods" option, you receive 100% of the sale of your courses immediately (you only pay the commissions of the payment platforms). To add your payment methods, go to "payment gateways":

You have the option to add students directly to your training sessions (one by one or en masse), so if they pay you by other means or from other sources you can sign them up directly for the training session.

In these plans you can choose to use ClassOnLive's payment gateways (it is optional to use them in these plans) in which case a 10% commission per sale made applies. The process is the same as if you were on the professional plan (if you want to know in detail how it works, keep reading), that is, a 10% commission is applied and your earnings are paid once a month.

In the case of payment by bank transfer and payments by PayU (that are not by credit card) you must register the student manually and until then the student will receive their credentials.

Professional and Starter Plans

With our Starter and Professional plans, you only pay a small monthly/annual fee and a commission only when you make a sale . This means your costs adjust to your growth: if you don't sell, you don't pay more , making it a 100% flexible and sustainable model.

It's a win-win system designed especially for those who are just starting out or still in the expansion phase. And when you're ready to scale, you can upgrade to higher plans, where you can integrate your own payment methods and eliminate the commission.

In the beginner and professional plans, you do not need to configure the payment methods since the configuration is already done in these plans.

When the student makes a purchase, ClassOnLive receives the money and subsequently pays you the earnings, deducting the commission corresponding to each plan. No configurations are necessary, since the payment method is active by default.

Commissions:

Initiation Plan: 15%

Professional Plan: 10%

With your own domain: The student has the option to pay by card With ClassOnLive subdomain : The student has the option to pay by card and PayPal.

Important:

*Sales commissions are additional to the monthly/annual subscription payment for the plans.

*If you are located in Spain (Peninsula and Balearic Islands) you must add the corresponding VAT to the commission payment.

*The commission charged by ClassOnLive already includes the commissions charged for payments by credit card and/or PayPal.

* You must be on a paid plan to receive your earnings, otherwise, that is, if you have canceled the subscription before receiving your income, the payment will not be made.

*In addition, you can manually add up to 20 students without commission , perfect for tests, scholarships or recurring students. If you need more, you can purchase additional students for just €1 each (minimum purchase of 20 students), in a single payment , without affecting your monthly payment, to do this you must sign them up directly for the training. The rest of your students simply access it by purchasing the course from the personalized landing page that ClassOnLive provides you.

Trial Period (free)

Works the same as the beginner and professional plans.

IMPORTANT: If you sell a course during the trial period, you must upgrade to a paid plan to receive your earnings, otherwise you will not be paid. During the trial period, you cannot integrate your own payment methods, even if you select the Advanced or Premium Plan.

How are my earnings paid?

The commission charged by ClassOnLive already includes the commissions they charge for credit card payments.

ClassOnLive will pay your earnings only through the Paypal account you have detailed in your profile within ClassOnLive (enter your Paypal account email) and in the currency you have chosen to sell your training. ** In the case of some countries or types of currency, Paypal may charge a commission to receive payments of your earnings. This commission is unrelated to ClassOnLive and is governed exclusively by Paypal policies.

You can change your PayPal account at any time in your profile, as long as you do so before the payment has been made, since once the payment has been made it cannot be made to another PayPal account.

Payment will be made on the first business day of the month following the month in which your content has been purchased or on the first business day of the month following the month in which your content has started (in the case of any training carried out by videoconference). In the event that you do not have a PayPal account by the time the payment is made, the payment will be attempted a second time 2 days later. If you don't have it by then, you must write to [email protected] letting us know when you have it, and you'll have to wait until the following month to receive payment.

In all plans

For each transaction made you will receive an email with the student's information and in the " transactions " section you will be able to see the list of purchases made.
