Creating in-app purchases for your app on the Play Store is an easy process.
The goal is to make the courses you have for sale on ClassOnLive through the web also available from the app.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure everything works correctly and your app is synced with your ClassOnLive online school.
To allow your users to purchase your courses from your Android app, you must make sure you set up in-app purchases correctly.
1-Add payment details and tax information.
Sign in to your Google Play Console account ( https://play.google.com/ )
Go to Settings-->Payment Profile
2-If you don't have a payment profile created, click on Create Payment Profile and fill in your business and contact details.
4- Click on Add Payment Method to add where you want to receive the amount of your sales made to through the app and click Save.
5-Get your app ready to receive purchases.
You must follow these steps:
5.1 Go to the Google Play Console and access All applications
5.2 Select your App from the list
5.3 Once selected, in the left side menu go to the Monetization section and click on Products-->In-app purchase products
5.4 In the upper right corner click on Create Product
5.5 Add the Product ID, the details of your training as well as the price.
IMPORTANT: To obtain the ID you must do it from ClassOnLive, from the section of trainings you teach.
This information is extremely important since this is the value that ClassOnlive will use to continue the student registration process once they purchase your product in the App.
Keep in mind that each product created in the App must have its equivalent associated in ClassOnLive.
Please note
- Only one-time payment courses are allowed. Subscription courses or purchasing individual topics are not allowed.
-After creating the product in the app, you must make sure not to delete it, since Google does not allow the same product ID to be added to another product from the app (even if the other has been deleted). It is mandatory that the product ID matches the course ID in ClassOnLive, so make sure not to delete it.
If you accidentally delete it, you will need to obtain a new product ID from ClassOnLive and generate a new product with the new ID provided.
