ClassOnLive allows you to use its video conferencing system or integrate with zoom.
If you record in zoom, you can upload your recordings to the library to later share them and attach them to different training sessions, here you have how to do it.
If you are going to record the live sessions with the ClassOnLive system, you must bear in mind that the virtual rooms have the REC button, they are not automatic.
Before recording, you will be given a choice between two options:
1) Record only the camera/webcam
If you choose this option, only what you broadcast through your camera/webcam will appear. If you are going to share a screen or a pdf, it will not be recorded.
2) Record my entire screen (This option is not available in SAFARI)
Choose this option if, in addition to your camera/webcam, you are going to share a screen or pdf.
*If you choose to share a video, it will not appear in the recording. More information is available here .
Whatever is visible on your screen/monitor will be recorded.
IMPORTANT: Just like when sharing your screen, a window will appear to allow you to choose which screen you want to record. We recommend selecting FULL SCREEN. *Tip: Press F11 to select full screen for recording and view what you are sharing in full screen.
IMPORTANT:
-The recording will be available at the end of the live session, unless you select the option to add an additional presenter . In this case, it will take 24-48 hours.
-Due to data protection law, students are not recorded in any of the rooms, only the instructor (nor is the option to "give voice" to the students). If you want to record everyone, you have the option to integrate with zoom.

*The recordings appear by default in webm , you have the option to automatically convert them to mp4.

*If you don't want the chat to be recorded, simply hide it with the corresponding date.
b) in the case of screen sharing, you will see that there are many windows within others (it is normal) and then what you want to place (in this case your webcam is not recorded).
