Uploading Content to the Media Library
Available on all plans.
To add content to your training courses, the first thing you must do is upload it to your media library. This will allow you to add it only once and then be able to attach it to several training courses without having to upload it each time.
You can find the library in the vertical left menu in Training courses. You must select the green button in the upper right to add a folder.
Folders allow you to organize your content. In the actions button, start adding your content. Here you can view the folder's contents, edit it, download the contents, or delete it:
Add and select the content:
The maximum content sizes must be:
Video: 2G (500MB during trial period)
Audio: 50MB
Document/image: 30MB
This limit is set for the student, so that they do not have videos that are too long or too heavy and prevent them from having a positive user experience. Remember that you have the possibility to upload the number of videos you want (it is unlimited). In case you require more for your content, you have the option to upload videos through YouTube and/or Vimeo and the content through a link hosted in the cloud (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.)
In the case of presentations in Prezi, Slideshare, Genially, etc. or using other tools such as Typerform, GoogleForms, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc... simply place the link in the corresponding field or add the code to embed in the form of Iframes.
Fill in the corresponding fields:
*The title and description that you place for each content will be visible to the student on their control panel and on the landing page of your course.
*The category will help you filter and organize your content within the library.
*When uploading content, a window will appear in the lower right corner where you will see the upload progress. This DOES NOT mean that it is available yet (remember that the platform must process it to be available on multiple devices and it may take a few minutes).
*For some videos, when the upload process is finished, you will be informed with an email. Until then, the video will not be displayed.
Once you've uploaded the files to the folder, each one will have an action button where you can view, edit, move to another folder, download, and delete them:
IMPORTANT:
*If you delete a file from a folder in the library and you have it associated with a training, it will NOT be removed from the training. To delete the file from the training, go directly to modify the training and delete it from there.
* *If you delete a file from a training, it will NOT be removed from the library.
Uploading Content to Trainings
In the content section of each training, select add from library:
3 options will appear:
by folder: selects the entire folder and all the contents of that folder are added.
by type: selects to show you all the contents: video, audio, image or document, regardless of the folder where they are located
by extension: mp3, mp4, webm, jpg, doc, excel, pdf, etc.. regardless of the folder where they are located
Once Once you have added the content, the option is sample and downloadable will appear in each one.
This is an example: if you use the landing pages that the platform gives you, the student can see this content without pay or register in advance (for example a cover letter, the list of contents, etc.)
Downloadable : means that the student can download this file. If this option does not appear, it is because it is downloadable by default by the student or because a link has been added.
Uploading photographs to my website
If you want to save the photographs you use on your website and have them accessible at all times, you must first create a folder in the library to place the photos you are going to use and then when designing your website they will be available to upload directly in the editor.
By default, libraries are managed only by the administrator. If you need to change access permissions, see here .
