The API allows you to connect external platforms with ClassOnLive, so it is recommended to use it if:
-You are complementing another LMS platform (like Moodle) or similar with ClassOnLive
-You have your own website
The API allows you to generate live/videoconference sessions from an external platform and everything that this entails:
-Get the links for each user so they can enter directly from their platform without entering ClassOnLive
-Add, delete students
-Assign the room (webinar, groups, one to one)
-Assign, modify, delete instructors
-Modifications to the training (name, date, etc.)
-Among other things
**The objective regarding the API is to add new functionalities that allow you to manage all of ClassOnLive externally from the platform/website you want.
An API is an advanced functionality that requires technical and programming knowledge, so if you are a programmer or have a technical team, it is interesting for you (it is based on REST technology and you can use any backend programming language: PHP, Java, C#, etc. to use it).
