The first thing you should check is that you have your webcam and microphone working correctly and you have them connected.
Before continuing, you must make sure that you do not have programs such as Skype, FaceTime, GotoWebinar, etc. turned on. since these types of programs access your webcam and microphone and block and disable them so that ClassOnLive cannot access them.
When you try to access a virtual/videoconference room, the platform:
1) asks you for permission to access these
2) if you have more than one, you must configure/choose it
If you accidentally didn't give the platform permission to access your microphone or webcam, you'll need to go back and fix this.
To do this, you must access it using the padlock that appears on the left side of the link:
And select the "enable" or "allow" option (in English) and restart your browser:
If you want to change the equipment configuration, you have a gear inside the room that allows you to do so:
You must also make sure that you are in a browser that is compatible with ClassOnLive. You can learn more about this in our technical requirements . For browsers like Safari, you should clear your cookies/history. See how to do this here .
*Please note that if you join the webinar rooms as a student, you do not need a webcam or microphone, unless the speaker/instructor enables it for you. Read more here.
