Technical requirements for students attending a live session

Browsers:

The platform is available on the following browsers: CHROME, FIREFOX/MOZILLA, SAFARI, and EDGE. Make sure your browser is updated, as the platform will not work properly if it is not. Check your version here .

Devices:

Available on any device (pc, mac, tablet, ipad, mobile/cell phone, ipad, iphone, etc). **For Iphone/Ipad only through Safari (version +11) and you must copy the link directly into Safari (since opening it from certain apps, like gmail, may have different features).

Internet and Connections

- If you are going to host a live session in the webinar rooms, and you do not need a camera or microphone (webinar, masterclass, etc.), the speed you will need will be +1Mbps.

- For rooms where you do need a webcam and microphone (one-to-one rooms or group rooms) you need +2Mbps upload and at least +1Mbps per attendee (if there are 10 attendees, each one will need at least 10Mbps download ).

*Recommended: Wired connection to improve internet stability.

Suggestions:

-If your network connection is insufficient or unstable, you may experience technical difficulties in the room, including loss of connection and audio, as well as problems seeing/hearing the teacher or speaker. Check your network speed at speedof.me. To improve your network speed here .

- If you are behind a firewall or network proxy, please speak to your IT support person.

- A microphone is required for one-on-one and group rooms.

-If you are going to share your screen, please read the following tutorial: How to share screen .

-Turn off programs like skype, zoom, garage band, facetime, etc. and any program that may block your webcam and microphone.

-If the browser asks you for permission to share the screen, click the "allow" button:
