Checking my internet speed

There are several ways to test your internet speed. ClassOnLive recommends speedof.me

When you run the test (it usually takes a few seconds, depending on your speed) it will show you:

-Download speed: In most cases, it is usually faster than the "upload" speed, it is the one that determines how quickly you receive the data.

-Upload speed: This is the one that determines how quickly you send the data. It's important for uploading videos/photos, streaming video conferencing sessions, screen sharing, recording, emailing, etc.

-Latency: The speed at which your connection responds after you send a request.

If your connection is slow (less than 3 Mbps), consider connecting directly to your modem with a cable, upgrading your internet plan, or moving to a location with a better connection.
