Available only with your own domain (advanced plan).

A sitemap is a file that lists all the important pages of your website, in this case, your online school.

It serves as a guide for search engines, like Google, to determine which pages they should add to their index and which ones they should leave out.

Having a sitemap is a fundamental part of your website's SEO. Thanks to these small files, Google can discover your pages faster and more efficiently, helping you position your Online School's websites better.

ClassOnLive automatically creates the XML Sitemap of your entire website . These types of sitemaps are written in a specific format and are the preferred format for search engines, such as Google.

To create your sitemap, you must access the website section and it will be sent to your email account:

Once you receive it, you must send your sitemap to Google in the following link:

You’ll need to open an account if you don’t have one yet, and to submit your sitemap, go to the “ Sitemaps ” report. You’ll find it under the “ Indexing ” section in the left-hand menu. Next, enter your sitemap URL in the “ Add a new sitemap ” section and click the “ Submit ” button.

Don’t forget that you can monitor the status of your sitemap submission at any time. If you see a green “ Success ” message, everything is going well. But if there's a problem with your sitemap, you'll see a red status of " Could not be fetched " or " Contains errors" . In this case, the report will provide a detailed explanation of what went wrong and how you can fix it.

Additionally, you can select which pages you want Google to index or not. You can find more information here.
