When you're in a virtual room that requires a webcam and microphone, such as a one-on-one or breakout room, your internet connection is often the cause of poor audio and video quality, especially over wireless (Wi-Fi) connections. Here are some simple solutions:
Make sure you're not using any other programs to download anything. Close any other tabs or programs you may have open (especially Skype, Hangouts, or other programs that may be blocking functionality).
Exit and re-enter the virtual room.
Try not to connect to Wi-Fi and instead connect directly to your modem/router with a cable.
