My webcam isn't working

Please verify that

  • Your webcam settings are correct on your computer and that it is not blocked.

  • You have selected the correct webcam if you have multiple webcams.

  • Close any other programs that may be using your webcam (such as Skype, Hangouts, etc.) and exit and re-enter the virtual room.

  • Make sure you clicked “allow” when the program asked you what you authorize in

  • If all else fails, restart your web browser and then your computer.

For webinar rooms, only the presenter can authorize you to join via webcam, so make sure they have given you the right to share your webcam. Ask the presenter in the chat.
